Context
Goal: Building the first online learning platform for medical students. Medical students have lots of theoretical courses, but in some cases, they don’t know how to perform specific care.
Time Frame: We had to build everything from the ground up in 2 weeks while keeping a few projects running on the side.
Research Process
Because of the very short time frame and business issues, we didn't put too many resources into research.
Interviews :
We did what we could qualify as guerrilla interviews, that is to say extremely quick and efficient interviews with no budget, in order to capture the basic needs and digital behaviors of medical students. We quickly realized that medical students were already using a few online platforms such as Facebook and YouTube.

Bench-marking :
According to the circumstances, our best research solution here was to perform deeper benchmark than usual and use those findings to help build our service. That’s why we studied how Lynda, Udemy, and Teachable worked. Those are very different platforms with similar purposes, but distinct approaches.

Ideation
Most of the students, being avid users of Facebook and YouTube, were of great help. We realized that we should lean on existent behaviors and habits to build our platform. That was why we got inspired by both while building the project.
Wireframing :
We decided to do only a few basic pages because time and budget were extremely limited. We drew basic Information Architecture and went on to high fidelity.
High fidelity prototyping :
Built in 2016 the first high fidelity and prototypes were designed to remind its users of YouTube. We quickly appropriated material design's standards and used them to build a simple and easy online learning platform.
